Impact of supportive text messages on Stress

 

There was a 5.7% reduction in the Perceived Stress Scale measured mean stress symptom score at three months for Text4Hope subscribers who received the daily supportive messages.


Subscribers of Text4Hope who had enrolled for six weeks (Intervention Group) had significantly lower prevalence of moderate/high stress compared to new subscribers during the same time frame (Control Group) (78.8% vs. 88.0% respectively).
